Management Workshop
Kathy Ennis, the Post-16 Learning Adviser of CILIP presented
a workshop at the CILIP Eastern Branch AGM in May 2003 which
explored the importance of image, impression and advocacy
as personal development tools.
Workshop theme
In an image conscious world people who convey an impression
of power and status are respected and admired. People who
inspire confidence are often promoted, regardless of their
skills, qualifications and experience. Therefore it pays to
create the right impression. This is what library and information
workers need to keep at the forefront of their minds today.
