At our AGM on 27th April 2004 we agreed our new name and sphere of interest as follows for the preamble and interpretation of the new Special Interest Group Rules:

Our Special Interest Group shall be known as the East of England Information Services Group of CILIP: The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.

The Group's sphere of interest is championing the management and use of information services in their widest aspects, throughout all sectors of the library and information profession.
